The Department of Political Analysis is engaged in the research and forecasting of socio-political processes in Kazakhstan, the development of the political system and the party field of the country.
The Department prepares information and analytical materials on key events on the global and domestic political agenda.
The department develops methodological manuals on socio-political topics, distributed among party members.
The staff of the Department actively participates in the work of various expert platforms, including in the TV format, and also publishes their comments in the media.
Umirzakov Medet
Head of DepartmentSociologist, lawyer, Master of Social Sciences.
He completed a scientific internship at Otto von Guericke University (Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, Germany) as part of his Master’s degree.
In 2018, as part of his professional development, he completed training at the School of Political Management on the topic “Political Party Management”.
Co-developer of the methodology of the National Corruption Perception Index, co-author of the Fair Kazakhstan Index, the National Zero Tolerance Index for Offenses, as well as the Index of Political Ambitions of Women in Kazakhstan.
Owns data analysis tools in the SPSS statistical package. He has experience participating in electoral campaigns in the Presidential elections (2019, 2022), parliamentary elections (2021, 2023), as well as in the Referendum on the construction of nuclear power plants in Kazakhstan (2024).
Research interests: applied sociology, electoral sociology, quantitative data analysis.
He was awarded letters of appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as the badge “Belsendi kyzmeti ushin” (2022).
Berkutova Ekaterina

Akhmedi Erlan
A political expert. Author of the book “21 gasyr shesheni. 77 kanes” (2017), the political novel “Power. The Grey Cardinal” (2021), the comic book “Captain Qazaqstan” (2023), the science fiction novel “2029: The Dictatorship of Artificial Intelligence” (2024), co-author of the analytical report “The President. Elections. A new Political Era” (2022).
Research interests: domestic, foreign policy and history of Kazakhstan, international relations, political history of the USA and Turkey.

Tokenov Abdulla

He is a graduate of the School of Analytics at the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Research interests: public administration, social capital, development of political parties.
